UNIUYO supplementary admission 2026 at a Glance
UNIUYO supplementary admission for 2026/2027 closes on 25 October 2026.
- Applicants need a 2026 UTME score of 150 or above.
- Candidates must have participated in UNIUYO’s Post-UTME screening.
- The list covers 84 programmes with subject requirements.
- A JAMB CAPS change of programme is required before applying.
The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has opened supplementary Post-UTME admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session. The exercise is for candidates who scored at least 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), took part in the university’s Post-UTME screening and did not gain admission to their first-choice programmes.
Candidates can apply for an alternative available course provided they meet its UTME subject combination and O’level entry requirements.
UNIUYO supplementary admission registration dates
Applications opened on Monday, 19 October 2026 and close on Sunday, 25 October 2026. Candidates who fail to register within this period will not be considered for supplementary admission.

How to apply for supplementary admission
- Go to the UNIUYO admission portal.
- Under Registration, select Supplementary Admission.
- Choose an available programme that matches the candidate’s UTME and O’level qualifications.
- Submit the application and print the Supplementary Admission Notification Slip for future reference.
Change of programme on JAMB CAPS
Candidates must change to their selected programme on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before completing the UNIUYO supplementary admission application. Candidates who have not made the change on JAMB CAPS will be unable to complete the university’s application.
O’level result upload and acceptance of admission
Candidates must ensure their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB O’level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal through a JAMB-approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
Candidates offered admission must accept the offer within one week. Failure to do so could lead to its deletion. Such candidates may be treated as having refused admission and could become ineligible for future admission.
Warning against admission fraud
UNIUYO does not have individual admission agents or sales representatives. Candidates should avoid paying into personal accounts or dealing with anyone claiming to secure admission on the university’s behalf.
