The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) will open its online hostel accommodation booking portal on Monday, 26 October 2026. Students must have paid their school fees before they can book accommodation.
The Student Affairs Division will release a timetable specifying booking days and times on Wednesday, 21 October 2026. Students should consult the timetable before attempting to reserve a hostel space.

Special needs students’ hostel allocation
Students who completed the Vulnerable Form for special needs accommodation can report for hostel allocation from Monday, 19 October 2026. The Student Affairs Division will attend only to applicants whose medical reports have been authenticated or certified by the University of Abuja Clinic.
Students excluded from hostel accommodation
Students in their penultimate years, including industrial training (IT) students, are excluded from hostel accommodation for this session under an arrangement already approved by university management.
Booking and bed-space allocation procedure
Students who qualify for accommodation must make their bookings through the university’s online portal. They should not visit the Office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division, to request hostel allocation before booking.
After a successful online booking, the student must take the booking printout to the Office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division, for bed-space allocation.
The university has advised students to watch for the detailed timetable and subsequent accommodation instructions.
