Nigerian tertiary schools have started their Post UTME and Direct Entry screening processes for the 2026/2027 admission year, following the announcement of the applicable cut-off marks during the annual policy meeting.

Each school is responsible for its application form, screening method, payment amount, closing date and admission conditions. Some schools use computer-based tests, while others assess candidates through interviews, document verification, O’level result checks or UTME record screening.

This page contains the universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, colleges of nursing sciences and other tertiary schools that have released admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates may search the page for their chosen school, open the relevant notice and read every condition before making payment.

What Is Post UTME?

Post UTME is the screening process that follows the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The screening may be a computer-based examination, an interview, a review of submitted records or a verification of O’level and UTME results. The chosen method is set by each school.

A candidate who misses a required screening may lose admission consideration for that school, even where the candidate has met the general UTME cut-off mark.

Direct Entry applicants may also be required to complete a separate screening form or follow the Direct Entry conditions stated in the school notice.

How Much Is a Post UTME Form?

Post UTME form prices vary by school.

N2,000 is the minimum and most common amount stated for Post UTME forms, but candidates should check the exact fee shown in their chosen school’s notice before making payment.

Other charges or programme fees should be treated according to the official notice. A candidate should confirm the full amount before starting the payment process.

What Should Candidates Know Before Applying?

Candidates should complete their applications personally or through a trusted person/cbt centre/cafe who follows the official school notice. Anyone who promises admission assistance in return for payment should be avoided, because legitimate schools do not appoint admission agents or middlemen for Post UTME processing.

The JAMB brochure is the official guide for checking whether a candidate’s UTME subjects and O’level subjects match the chosen course. A subject mismatch can affect admission, even where the candidate has a high UTME score.

Each school sets its own requirements. The candidate should read the full admission notice before payment because the eligibility score, deadline, screening method, document rules and applicant category may differ.

What Happens After Post UTME Screening?

After the test or screening, schools release results or admission lists in batches.

Candidates should keep checking the JAMB CAPS portal and the school website, because the first admission list may not close the process. More lists may follow after the first batch.

Admission is not always based on early application alone. Schools may consider the chosen course, quota and cut-off mark before final admission decisions are made.
