The Gombe State Scholarship Board has issued a disclaimer and counter circular to all Gombe State indigenes studying in various Institutions of Higher Learning across the country and the General Public.
The Board stated that its attention has been drawn to a FAKE CIRCULAR trending on social media about the registration of Scholarship for the 2025/2026 scholarship registration exercise. The Board clarified that such circular did not emanate from the Board and should be disregarded.
The Board directed that all students who registered during the 2025 registration exercise should DO NOT register AGAIN as their registration is still valid for the whole years of their studies.
The Board noted that the current registration is only for those who did not register last year but yet in school to 2025/2026, not by extension or otherwise, and the New Intake for the year 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The Board further informed that it would be conducting a verification exercise in due course and any student who is caught with multiple registration would be disqualified.
The Board urged all Students and the General Public to take note.
