The Gombe State Scholarship Board has disowned a circular circulating on social media about registration for the 2025/2026 scholarship exercise. It asked students and the public to disregard the notice.
Who should register
According to the Board, students who registered during the 2025 exercise must not register again. Their existing registration remains valid throughout their studies.
Registration for the 2025/2026 academic session is intended only for students who did not register in 2025 and are still in school and new intakes for that session.
Warning against multiple registration
The Board said it would conduct a verification exercise and disqualify any student found to have registered more than once.
Students who need background information can read the Gombe State scholarship application guide.
