The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Top-Up degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applicants must have at least five O’level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, as well as a relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) or Third Class degree. An NYSC Certificate or Exemption Letter is also required.
The application fee is ₦20,000 and application forms are available from Monday, 5 October 2026 to Friday, 13 November 2026.

FUTA Top-Up admission requirements
Candidates must possess:
- At least five credit passes at O’level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Third Class degree in a relevant field of study.
- Evidence of an NYSC Certificate or Exemption Letter.
How to apply for FUTA Top-Up admission
Candidates are required to:
- Visit the FUTA website for application information.
- Generate an invoice for the ₦20,000 application form through the Remita platform, payable at any bank.
- Complete and submit the application form after payment.
Application period
The FUTA Top-Up degree application forms are available for completion from Monday, 5 October 2026 to Friday, 13 November 2026.
