
Oko Polytechnic amnesty application at a Glance
Federal Polytechnic Oko’s amnesty application window runs from 8 to 22 October 2026.

Federal Polytechnic Oko has opened a one-off amnesty programme for eligible students who have exceeded the maximum period allowed to complete their studies. Applications run from 8 to 22 October 2026.
The Academic Board approved the programme at its meeting on 1 July 2026. It gives eligible students who are willing and able to complete their studies a final opportunity to take carry-over examinations, meet outstanding requirements and graduate under the Polytechnic’s Academic Regulations.
Eligibility requirements
The programme covers students duly admitted to a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) programme who have exceeded the maximum study duration set by the Academic Regulations.
Applicants must also meet these conditions:
- They must have been bona fide students of the Polytechnic, with verifiable matriculation records.
- They must not have been dismissed or expelled for examination malpractice, cultism or other serious misconduct, unless the penalty has been formally reviewed and set aside.
How to apply
- Visit the Federal Polytechnic Oko website.
- Select the Portal link at the top-right corner of the website.
- On the portal homepage, select Amnesty Application.
- Enter the student’s registration number and select Submit.
- Complete the application form with the required details and select Submit.
- After the Polytechnic approves the application, visit the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre for the amnesty to be granted or activated on the portal.
- After activation, pay the applicable school fees.
- Complete the required payment and registration processes, then prepare for the examinations.
